Extending the TIG power cable using an electrode
“stinger” is inefficient and dangerous, resulting in poor
electrical transfer and possible injuries. CK Worldwide’s new Safe-Loc™ cable connector system is an
efficient and safe way to extend TIG power cables. All
electrical connections are insulated with a rugged
poly-resin clamshell. Tweco or Dinse style twist lock
fittings are available. Many new inverter TIG power
supplies use Dinse style connectors replacing the old
lug system. Both water-cooled or gas-cooled torches can
be safely and efficiently extended up to an overall
