More mass in the head of the torch equates to more efficient heat dissipation. CK Worldwide has the largest metal head insert used in the industry for a 200 amp gas-cooled torch. CK Worldwide uses a brass insert instead of copper to help eliminate the collet body seizing in the head at higher amperages. Stripping and galling of the fine thread pattern is also less likely. |
