The size of the water jacket, metal head insert and cable determines the amperage capacity. CK Worldwide uses a unique head assembly that provides the largest water jacket available in an 18 series torch. With this type of construction CK provides over twice the surface area for maximum heat transfer versus competitive torch heads. (Refer to pictures below)
